DAY1- pick up Chandigarh journey to Manali on this route Pandoh dam, kullu rafting point, over night stay in hotel manali

DAY2-After Breakfast Manali local sightseeing:…..

HADIMBA TEMPLE: Manali has many attractions but the chief centre of interest, historically and archeologically, is undoubtedly the DHOONGRI TEMPLE dedicated to goddess Hadimba, the Bhim of Mahabharat fame. It has four-tiered Pagoda shaped roof and the doorway is carved with legendary figures and symbols. This temple located amidst wooden forest of deodar is about 2.5 kms. from the tourist office. It is a pleasant experience to stroll in the temple complex which was built in 1533 A.D. A large festival is held here in May.

TIBETAN MONASTERIES: There are 3 newly constructed colorful monasteries, where visitors can buy carpets and other Tibetan handicrafts. Two are located in the town and one at Aleo on the left bank of Beas river

VASHIST HOT WATER SPRINGS AND TEMPLE (3 kms): Vashist, a small village located on the left bank of river Beas towards Rohtang pass is worth a visit. It is renowned for its hot springs and temples. Nearby is the pyramidal stone temple dedicated to Vashist Muni. There is another Temple of Lord Ram here. Natural hot sulphur springs with two separate bathing tanks for gents and ladies are always full of tourists. Turkish style showers fitted baths have also been built nearby. Hot water from the nearby spring is provided for bathing.

NEHRU KUND: 5 kms. on National Highway to Leh,a natural spring of cold clear water named after Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, who used to drink water from this spring during his stay in Manali. This spring is believed to originate from the Bhrigu lake situated high-up in the mountains.

Manali sanctuary: The Manali sanctuary starts from behind the town square and goes up in the mountains behind Manali. There is a biodiversity trail for the visitors, which showcases all the flora and fauna

OVER NIGHT IN HOTEL

DAY 3 Manali to Sarchu (approx. 220 kms)

After breakfast proceed from Manali to Sarchu via Rohtang Pass (12000+ ft asl), Keylong (10000+ ft asl) & Baralacha Pass (15000+ ft asl). Reach Sarchu by late evening.

DAY 4_ Sarchu to Leh (Approx. 255 Km / 09 to 10 Hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Leh via Lachangla Pass (16,617 feet) & Skyangchu Thang (Biggest & Highest plateau in the world of around 42 km) and Pang. Experience beautiful scenic journey on the Manali Leh Highway (Considered to be a definitive experience and the most beautiful in the world). Cross the Tanglangla Pass and travel through the Indus Valley. Reach Leh by late evening.

DAY 5_ Visit Sangam, Gurudwara pathar sahib, Hall of Fame, Magnetic hills,
After breakfast, drive to Sangam (Confluence). En route visit Magnetic Hill and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. Visit Confluence of Zanskar and Indus River.

The Sangam (Confluence): Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers lies in Ladakh at Nimu. The Indus runs through Ladakh all along by your side serving as a constant companion and you feel a sense of respect for this ifeline of the people of Ladakh, especially since Ladakh experiences rainfall of only 2 to 3 inches throughout the year. Both Indus and Zanskar Rivers merge with each other as if they had flown all along just for that purpose. From this point on, beyond this Confluence of the two, the waters are regarded as the Indus River.

Magnetic Hill: Can anyone ever imagine the movement of a vehicle up a steep mountain with its engines off? Reach Magnetic Hill to experience this phenomenon which sounds unbelievable.

Gurudwara Pathhar Sahib: Gurudwara Pathar Sahib is a beautiful Gurudwara constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak, about 25 miles away from Leh, on the Leh-Kargil road, 12000 ft above sea level. The Gurudwara was built in 1517 to commemorate the visit to the Ladakh region of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder Guru of the Sikh faith. On your way back, visit Ladakh Hall of fame.

Hall of Fame: Hall of Fame in Leh is is a must visit for every individual of India. This is constructed by the Indian Army. You will find memorabilia, eminent defence personalities’ biographies, images and weapons used during Kargil war and belongings of enemy soldiers found at war site.

DAY 6_Leh to Nubra Valley Via Khardungla Pass: 140Km / 5 -6 Hours
Early morning proceed to Nubra Valley via the World’s Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla pass.

Khardung la Pass (18,380ft above sea level): It is not very often that one gets to drive on a road at an altitude of 18,380 feet. That is where Khardungla Pass, meaning the ‘Pass of Lower Castle,’ is located on the way from Leh to the Nubra Valley in Ladakh. It is the highest motorable road in the world as signs put up by the Border Roads Organization proudly proclaim.

Arrive Nubra Valley and check in. After relax proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can also enjoy a camel ride here (Camel ride on direct payment basis).

Nubra Valley: Popularly called the orchard of Ladakh, Nubra valley offers a graceful view of yellow and pink wild roses in summer and a carpet of wild lavender in the post-monsoon season. You will definitely be overwhelmed to see the Bactrian Camels (Shaggy double hump Camel) around sand dunes.

Thereafter, check in at comfortable Camp or Hotel.

Evening at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at the camp or hotel.

Day 7- Nubra Valley to Pangong via Shayok/Warila
Morning after Breakfast proceed for Diskit Monastery. Post the Diskit Monastery, proceed for backward journey to Pangong via Shayok/Warila.

Pangong Lake: The picturesque lake is one of the major draws of the Leh-Ladakh valley. a location of several film shootings and known for its pristine waters surrounded by awe-inspiring mountains, Pangong Lake is a prime tourist attraction. The long and narrow lake lies in the neighbourhood of the famous Chushul Mountains. The mirror-calm water is cold, clear and extremely salty. The lake is a breeding ground for a variety of birds.

In the evening check in at your camps in Pangong

Dinner and overnight stay at the camps.

DAY 8_Pangong Lake to Leh (approx. 140kms)
In the morning have breakfast at your camps in Pangong. Thereafter, proceed for your journey back to Leh. Upon your arrival in Leh, you may enjoy the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY9– After breakfast check out hotel journey to Sarchu or jaspa over night stay in hotel

DAY10- After breakfast journey to Manali over night stay in hotel

DAY11- After breakfast journey to Chandigarh drop at Chandigarh
